Historic Sisters House
Not only can you have your wedding along with your reception at one location, but you can
also stay on the Abbey campus. We have the ability to sleep 200 plus guests a night.
It all starts in our historic "Sisters House" where the Abbey Nuns used to live back
when this was a working Monastery. This beautiful 2 story Tudor style building has a conference room,
mini-kitchenette and outside BBQ patio for all your needs. This unique guest house offers
22 plus guest beds and is very affordable for semi-large groups.
The Hedley Dormitory
Not to be outdone is our "Hedley Dorm" which is our largest lodging building offering
110 plus beds. It is great for retreats and family reunions. If you do not want to have shared bathrooms,
we also have private bathrooms in a limited amount of the Hedley dorm rooms. This lodging structure
offers large gathering areas, a full kitchen, conference rooms, and a private grass yard.
Campus Features
The Abbey campus also features football fields, soccer fields, and a baseball field which are
all open to our guests for use during their stay with us and are perfect for a Youth Retreat.
These fields area also available for rent and are frequently used for car shows and other community events.
The Abbey also offers the Boys School Gym for rent where the students played their opponents in basketball.
The gym is equipped with locker rooms and sports a new gym floor with bleachers on both sides. The Abbey
Gym can be rented for sporting events, camps and/or events.
We also have 4 RV hook-ups for any mobile travelers that are looking to take in The Abbey
campus while passing through Cañon City.
